MC Good-bye Howdy
Purpose: This is a feel-good plugin for the website administrator. It replaces “Howdy,” as the greeting to the admin or other user in the top-right corner of the dashboard page.
Features: Just one setting does it. Type in the greeting you want. Examples: “You’re the Best, Mary”, “Do your thing, John”, Have a Great Day, Leslie” — whatever feels good.

After installation of the plugin, you’ll find a settings link right there on the plugins listing on the plugins page.

There will also be a link to the settings page under the Settings item on the left menu.

There is one setting on the Settings Page. Type in what you want your greeting to say. Click on SAVE to save your greeting. If you wish, click on RELOAD to see how your greeting looks in the top-right of the admin bar.

This is what the greeting looks like when “Howdy” has been replaced by “Welcome Back”.
